seniorOS in Portugal
seniorOS is live in Brazil first, built to Brazilian rules. In Portugal, we are opening early-access conversations. The rules that apply in Portugal (the rules for residential homes for older people set by Portaria n.º 67/2012, and the GDPR) are not yet configured in the product, and we will not deploy there until they are.

Everything starts with the resident, room and bed record.
An alert is only useful if it knows whose bed it is. A piece of clothing only comes back if it knows whose it is. A care plan only counts if it is tied to the right person. That is why the resident, room and bed record came first, and it already works.
Rules as configuration, country by country
seniorOS was built first for Brazil, on RDC 502/2021 and the LGPD. The rules of each jurisdiction are held as configuration, not written into the code. For Portugal, those rules (the rules for residential homes for older people set by Portaria n.º 67/2012, and the GDPR) will be configured before any deployment.
