Fall prevention
The fall starts before the resident is on their feet.
Before someone sits up, the body starts to move. seniorOS is being built to alert on those first movements, not once the resident is already up, so the carer has more time to get there.

seniorOS in Portugal
seniorOS is live in Brazil first, built to Brazilian rules. In Portugal, we are opening early-access conversations. The rules that apply in Portugal (the rules for residential homes for older people set by Portaria n.º 67/2012, and the GDPR) are not yet configured in the product, and we will not deploy there until they are.
Camera alerts are the next seniorOS module. This page describes how they are being built, with care homes already in implementation.
How it will work
The cameras the home already has
We check at the site visit whether they are suitable. Each camera is registered to the room and bed it shows.
The alert knows who it is
Because every bed is on the record, the alert arrives with the resident's name, room and bed, not with an image.
It goes to whoever is on the floor
The alert is sent to the team on that floor, not to a central desk.
Resident on the floor
As well as the bed-exit alert, seniorOS is being built to alert staff when a resident is on the floor.
After the alert
Each resident will have an alert history with the event time, the alert time and who acknowledged. With it, staff find the exact moment on the home's own recorder instead of scrubbing through hours of video.
Who gets alerted, and who is followed
- Only the residents the team selects, usually those at higher risk of falling.
- Only staff with their own account and a defined role.
- Whoever responds acknowledges. The acknowledgement is recorded with name and time.
What we say before we start
- There will be false alarms in the first days. The first weeks are for tuning, together with your team.
- Alerts support your team. Clinical decisions stay with your professionals.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to replace my cameras?
Not necessarily. At the site visit we check whether the cameras you already have work for the alerts. Only after that do we talk about changing anything.
Who sees the images?
Staff receive the alert with the resident, room and bed, not a video. seniorOS does not keep video; recording stays with your home's own recorder, under your home's rules.
Does it work at night?
That depends on each room's cameras and lighting, which is why we test it at the site visit, at night, with your cameras. We do not promise before we test.
Is every resident followed?
No. Only the residents the team selects and who have consent recorded for that purpose.
Is this a medical device?
It is not used for diagnosis. Alerts support your team; clinical decisions stay with your professionals.
