Who this policy applies to

This policy covers the senioros.care website. It does not cover the seniorOS system used by nursing homes; for that, see the Privacy and security page.

Who the controller is

tesatad, Inc., responsible for seniorOS, a company established in the United States.

Representative in the European Union (GDPR, art. 27): being appointed. Data protection contact: privacidade@senioros.care.

What data we collect

Through the contact form: name, role, work email, phone (optional), nursing home, location, number of residents and the message you write. We also store the version of the consent text you accepted, the date, and which edition of the site you used.

To prevent abuse of the form, we keep a hashed (non-reversible) version of the sender's IP address for up to one day.

When you browse, the hosting servers record technical access data, such as IP address and pages visited, for the security and operation of the site.

What we use it for

To reply to your message and talk with your organisation about seniorOS. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

Legal basis

Form data is processed on the basis of your consent (GDPR, art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time. Technical access records and abuse protection, on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure (art. 6(1)(f)).

Who receives the data

Amazon Web Services: hosting of the site, served through a global delivery network, and storage of form data in the Ireland region (eu-west-1), in the European Union.

Google Workspace: the new-contact notice arrives by email in the hello@senioros.care inbox, hosted by Google, which may process data outside the European Economic Area under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Form data: up to 24 months after submission, then deleted automatically, unless it becomes a business relationship.

Abuse-protection record: up to 1 day.

Cookies and similar technologies

This website uses Google Tag Manager, a Google service, to load Google Analytics, which measures how the site is used: pages visited, device and approximate location. Google may process this data outside your country. We do not use advertising cookies.

Where you are decides how it works. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, analytics cookies are only set after you accept them in the cookie notice; until then, and if you decline, Google receives only signals without cookies or identifiers. Elsewhere, analytics cookies are on by default.

You can change your choice at any time through Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

To open the site in your language and suggest the edition for the country you are in, the site reads your browser's language and your device's time zone, in your browser only. Your browser also stores your language and cookie choices locally, and whether you closed the country notice. None of this is sent to us.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing (GDPR, arts. 15 to 21). Write to privacidade@senioros.care. You can also lodge a complaint with Ireland's Data Protection Commission (DPC).

Security

The site is served only over an encrypted connection. Form data is stored encrypted, with restricted access.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with its date.
