Designed so nobody has to watch.
Every sentence on this page describes a product rule or something that already works. Where it does not work yet, we say so.

seniorOS in Ireland
seniorOS is live in Brazil first, built to Brazilian rules. In Ireland, we are opening early-access conversations. The rules that apply in Ireland (HIQA's National Standards for Residential Care Settings for Older People and the GDPR) are not yet configured in the product, and we will not deploy there until they are.
What seniorOS does with camera images
- seniorOS does not keep video.
- Camera events are only accepted for residents with consent recorded for that purpose.
- Further rules for cameras in bedrooms are being defined with legal counsel and will be published here once they apply.
Camera alerts are the next module. These are the design rules for them.
Who sees what
- Staff receive an alert with the resident, room, bed and time, not a video.
- Every access to sensitive data is logged with who accessed it and when.
Consent
- Per resident and per purpose, recorded and versioned. This already works.
- The resident or their guardian can revoke it at any time. Today revocation is carried out by our team at the home's request; a dedicated screen for it is on the roadmap.
Where the data lives
- Today, in Brazil, in the cloud in São Paulo, for the Brazilian homes we work with.
- For Ireland, where the data lives will be decided before any deployment, in line with HIQA's National Standards for Residential Care Settings for Older People and the GDPR. Data sent through this site's contact form is stored in the European Union (Ireland).
Access and accountability
- Every staff member has their own account.
- Two-step verification is available for every account.
- Access is set by role.
- When access is removed, it stops working on that person's next action, within seconds.
Protection
- Encrypted connections.
- CPF numbers stored encrypted in the database.
- Encrypted backups, with restoring rehearsed every time the environment is rebuilt.
The rules we build on
In Brazil, seniorOS follows the LGPD and ANVISA's RDC 502/2021. The rules of Ireland (HIQA's National Standards for Residential Care Settings for Older People and the GDPR) are not configured yet, and seniorOS will not be deployed there until they are. Each jurisdiction's rules are held as configuration, so a new country is added as data, not rewritten code.
Clinical responsibility
Alerts support the team. They do not diagnose and do not replace your professionals' judgement.

Let's talk about your home.
If privacy is what holds back cameras in your home, that is where we start.
